Planning products to sell
I have decided to do a Christmas Card inspired by the scene from when Buck sees snow for the first time. I added some antlers on to him to make him appeal to my audience however I think I might stick to some sceneries involving mountains and the aura borealis. My next steps will be to include a more interesting background.
Although I'm not sure about the antlers I still think the dog is cute and would be a nice product to sell. I decided to design a format of a card showing the simple version of my brand logo on the back page with places to find me on social media in the bottom corner.
This scanned in image is of a painting I did for this module showing a brighter side to Alaska, where The Call of The Wild is based. This piece took all day to paint and is very time consuming so if I want to sell it I would only use a scanned in version. I think this is very effective and I will definitely be adding Buck in the foreground as I continue with this module I think it could give it a very interesting look to it.
Here is the panting printed on to high quality photo paper. Before I printed this image again I added a few more details like making the water more vivid and the mountains and clouds more clear. I used a reference picture however the mountains initially weren't clear enough so I decided to take inspiration from a previous painting I made.
